A deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking to confirm your safari.
The balance is due 30 days prior to the safari start date.
Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment at the time of confirmation.
Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other agreed methods.
Cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to the following charges:
60+ days before safari: Full refund minus transaction fees
30–59 days: 50% of the total cost
Less than 30 days: 100% of the total cost
No refunds for unused services or last-minute changes during the safari.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee availability.
Any changes may be subject to additional charges, including price adjustments due to third-party suppliers.
Comprehensive travel insurance is highly recommended and should cover trip cancellations, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and baggage loss.
Clients are responsible for ensuring they meet the necessary health requirements for travel, including vaccinations and malaria precautions.
Guests with medical conditions must notify us before booking.
Bearfoot Expeditions follows all recommended safety protocols for wildlife viewing and trekking.
All safaris are conducted in well-maintained 4×4 vehicles with pop-up roofs, offering maximum viewing comfort.
Equipment used for trekking or camping is regularly inspected and maintained.
Accommodation is provided as indicated in your itinerary. Equivalent alternatives may be arranged due to availability or unforeseen circumstances.
Single room supplements apply where requested or where single occupancy is necessary.
Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed due to the natural behavior of animals.
Safari experiences are subject to weather conditions and park regulations.
Bearfoot Expeditions acts as an agent for hotels, transport companies, and other service providers and is not liable for loss, damage, or injury incurred during the tour.
Participation is at the traveler’s own risk.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes will be settled in Tanzanian courts.
